Grandma was right....the way to man's heart IS through his stomach! But unlike Grandma, we have the option of putting food before our man that looks and tastes great WITHOUT spending hours in the kitchen. I used to cook and bake everything from scratch, BUT NO MORE! I've learned how to start with store-bought items and transform them into something that will impress anyone!

With the holiday season in full-swing, this is the most time-saving thing I do for myself for Christmas! I make up 2 big batches of this & store in those gallon-size zip lock bags. When I have to bring something to pass at a party - I grab a bag & a disposable Christmas bowl (dollar store-here I come) and away I go! No fuss-no cleanup-no last minute cooking-and no dish to worry about bringing back home! This stores for weeks & only gets better. Krispy Krunch also makes great gifts when put in a pretty jar with a ribbon or those Christmas cellophane bags with a big bow! Use your imagination!

Krispy Krunch!

1 box Rice Chex
1 bag small pretsel sticks
1 bag regular Fritos
1 bag (24 oz) M&M's - get the Christmas one's for Christmas!
2 bags microwave popcorn - popped
2 bags white chocolate chips

Start with 2 very large bowls. In each bowl, put:

1/2 of the Rice Chex
1/2 of the Fritos
1 bag of popped popcorn

Over very low heat, melt the white chocolate. Pour half over each bowl and stir, stir, stir until everything is slightly coated. Just before everything is coated, add 1/2 of the M&M's to each bowl & mix in. (Note: if you put them in at the beginning, they'll just sink to the bottom because they're heavier & it'll be hard to get them mixed back in.)

When all mixed, just leave set for a few hours for the white chocolate to dry. After a few hours, put in plastic ziplock bags or airtight container.

This is a basic recipe that you can adjust any way you like. I have seen this made with:

gummy bears
grahammy bears
corn candy
holidy shapped pretzels
different cereals

Feel free to experiment & have fun. I guarantee this will be a big hit. Another great container to use as a gift is those 16 oz. clear containers you get deli stuff in. You can get them at a kitchen or restaurant supply store. Because this is colorful and fun, any clear, airtight container is great!
